Ian Somerhalder and Nikki Reed already have a "big baby boy" together, so it was about time that they made their red carpet debut.

The duo, who started dating over the summer, made their first official appearance as a couple on Sunday at the InStyle/Warner Bros. Golden Globes bash. The Twilight actress, 26, wore a strapless dress with a full bottom while the Vampire Diaries actor, 36, looked dapper in a black suit.
Somerhalder was very attentive toward his ladylove during the big moment, keeping one arm delicately on her back as photographers snapped away.
The lovebirds have been inseparable since July, when things between them really started to take off. And it's been full speed ahead ever since with the twosome adopting pets together. First it was their "big baby boy," a horse named Eagle, and then the animal lovers added a cat, Sohalia, to the mix. Somerhalder also publicly defended Reed to Instagram trolls in September, calling her a "magical person doing great things in the world."

Just days ago, Somerhalder gushed about the newly divorced Reed on Instagram. He posted a photo of them together on New Year's Day and talked about how they were making "a great future starting now."
And in Hollywood, making a future together includes making your red carpet debut. Well done, kids.
