Update: Iggy Azalea clarified on Tuesday, June 21, that she didn't actually have ex-fiance Nick Young's car towed from their home or kick him out. "I am the one moving out," she tweeted.
Removing all traces of her ex-fiancé. After Iggy Azalea and Nick Young’s recent breakup, the “Fancy” singer wants her house rid of all of his belongings.
Photos of Azalea’s L.A. home show that she haphazardly unloaded all of his stuff in her driveway on Monday, June 20. Some of the items include chairs, tables and artwork. Pictures also revealed that the rapper had Young’s vintage 1962 Chevy Impala, which Azalea gifted him for Christmas in 2014, towed away from her home.
The “Black Widow” singer, 26, announced the couple’s split on Instagram on Sunday, June 19. “Unfortunately although I love Nick and have tried and tried to rebuild my trust in him — it’s become apparent in the last few weeks that I am unable to,” she wrote. “I genuinely wish Nick the best. It’s never easy to part ways with the person you planned your entire future with, but futures can be rewritten and as of today mine is a blank page.” The NBA player, 31, confirmed the news later the same day by tweeting, “Single.”
Azalea’s mention of lost trust seems to be referencing an incident in which Young allegedly admitted to cheating on his fiancée. The video was secretly taped by his Los Angeles Lakers teammate D’Angelo Russell and was leaked in late March.
“You was 30, she was 19? What about Amber Rose, you ain’t never tried,” Russell said in the clip. Young allegedly replied, “No, she knows my girl.”
Despite the drama, Azalea tweeted that she and Young were “good” just a few days later. The pair got engaged in June 2015, but had to postpone their wedding planning due to busy schedules.
