That’s gonna leave a mark! Iggy Azalea fell off the stage while performing her breakout smash hit “Fancy” during a pre-VMA show at the Avalon in L.A. on Friday, Aug. 22.
The crowd immediately gasped when the 24-year-old took a tumble and security guards quickly pulled her back onto stage. According to the Associated Press, the rapper said she felt “very blessed” that she didn’t break her legs.
The Aussie star later shrugged off the incident by posting the video herself via Instagram. “Sorry but it would be a crime not to share this with you all, I know I laughed,” she wrote. “#StillFinishedtheSongTho #KeptOnRapping #TheShowMustGoOn.”
Azalea is nominated for seven awards at the MTV Video Music Awards airing live on Sunday, Aug. 24. She and Rita Ora will also be performing their collab “Black Widow” live for the first time ever.
