From a ring on her finger to giving the middle finger. Iggy Azalea has a very clear message for her ex-fiancé Nick Young and Keonna Green, who exclusively revealed to Us Weekly that she is pregnant and expecting a child with the L.A. Lakers player.
The “Fancy” rapper was confronted by photographers, who asked if she had anything to say to Young and Green, at an Australian airport on Wednesday, July 6. The 26-year-old threw up her middle finger and said, “That’s my message for them, not you.”
As Us Weekly exclusively revealed, Green had a secret affair with her former high school sweetheart while he was still engaged to the Australian musician. Green, who already shares 4-year-old Nick Jr. with Young, is now 22-weeks pregnant and said that the 31-year-old athlete was “shocked” to find out baby No. 2 was on the way.
Azalea and Young announced they ended their engagement on June 19. The former couple started dating in 2014, and he popped the question in June 2015. Their relationship was rocky, though, with Young allegedly admitting to cheating on the “Team” rapper in a video that was filmed by his Lakers teammate D’Angelo Russell.
Green told Us that she rekindled her relationship with the NBA star in September 2015, adding that they’re not intimate anymore, but she would give him another chance. She even claims that she tried to reach out to Azalea once she and Young became romantic, but she never got a response.
“We got caught up in the moment and it just happened,” Green explains of how the affair began. “I would be like, ‘Nick, you cannot be sloppy. You need to be honest [with Azalea].’ He would say, ‘I don’t want to hear it.’ I don’t know what was going on in his household, but me and Nick have lots of history. It wasn’t a secret on my end. I didn’t feel guilty because I was in love with a man, and I’m pretty sure I’m not the only woman.”
Green cleared up any doubt about the father of the baby-to-be. “It was 200 percent Nick’s child. He’s always supportive, but he was in shock,” she told Us. “With him being in a public relationship, he didn’t know how to handle it. We didn’t get into [how he would tell Azalea]. I felt it was his decision how to handle it.”
