Iggy Azalea revealed wedding dress details and spoke about future motherhood in a new interview over the weekend.
The “Fancy” rapper’s candid interview comes just weeks after video surfaced her fiancé, Nick Young, allegedly confessing to cheating on his bride-to-be in a conversation with his Lakers teammate D’Angelo Russell.
An unbothered Azalea, 25, told Extra’s Elvis Durand about the custom gown she will wear when she eventually ties the not with the NBA player.
“Giorgio Armani is gonna make my dress,” she said. “I asked and I didn’t know if he would because he really hasn’t made a lot of celebrity wedding gowns. … I’m just a fan of classic tailoring and I wanted my wedding dress to be timeless so I don’t look ridiculous in 25 years when I’m showing my kids, like, ‘Here’s what mommy wore.’”
On the subject of kids, the Australian-born star explained that she’s already had plenty of parenting practice thanks to looking after Young’s 4-year-old son, Nick Jr., whom he shares with ex-girlfriend Keonna Green.
“Well, you know my fiancé has a son and he’s four years old, so he’s at our house all the time,” she noted. “And I have a bond with him. … He really likes cooking, so when he comes over we, like, cook mini pizzas or make, like, Rice Krispy treats, we do stuff like that together.”
But when it comes to having babies of her own, Azalea — who is currently busy promoting her upcoming second studio album Digital Distortion— is holding off.
“I think I have a little window into what it might be like to have my own child, but I have so much to do,” she admitted. “It’s way in the future.”
Young proposed to Azalea in June 2015 after two years of dating, with a stunning $500,000, 10.43-carat yellow diamond ring.
The two have put up a united front despite Young’s alleged indiscretions. While Azalea has openly gushed about their upcoming nuptials, Young retweeted a TMZ article titled “Nick & Iggy Are Still Gettin’ Hitched” on April 4.
