Influencer Anna Sitar and Josh “Bru” Brubaker are engaged.
The couple took to Instagram on Monday, April 20, to announce that they’re tying the knot. In the pic, Brubaker, 29, got down on one knee and popped the question to Sitar, 29, on a beach.
Sitar also shared a close-up photo of her engagement ring, featuring a pear-shaped diamond set on a gold band. She complemented the ring with a fresh butter yellow manicure and a floral sundress.
In more photos, the couple were seen dancing on the beach, cuddling up and watching the sunset and hugging.
“I’m so happy you’re here (forever),” Sitar captioned the post. Brubaker gushed in the comments section, “LOVE OF MY LIFE HALLELUJAH.”
More stars congratulated the couple, who have been dating since 2021, in the comments section.

Elsewhere on social media, Sitar gushed about the “joy” she’s been feeling since getting engaged. “I still don’t have the words to express the joy that I’ve felt the last few weeks. We kept it a secret for a little bit just to feel all the feels and bask [in] the insane happiness that I’ve never felt before.”
In December 2021, the couple confirmed via TikTok that they were dating after fan speculation. “You already know,” Sitar captioned a video of sweet moments between her and Brubaker kissing, wearing coordinating outfits and more.
Sitar previously opened up about her relationship with Brubaker, telling PopSugar in May 2023, “We’ve been together for almost two years now — it’s kind of coming up on that time where you’ve really settled into being in a relationship.”
Sitar continued, “It’s beautiful to get to have somebody that you can share all those experiences with. But I definitely feel like I have dialed back because on social media, you do reach a point where when you open up your relationships to the criticism and the commentary of others, it does get a little bit difficult. You take it with a grain of salt because we know our love and our relationship and everything we do is really authentic and out of genuine care for each other.”
Elsewhere in the interview, Sitar revealed a sentimental gift Brubaker got her for her birthday. “I got a necklace. It’s a little ‘J’ because — fun fact — I don’t know if he would want it in the world, but Bru’s first name is really Josh. It’s not Bru. Now it’s kind of my fault, but he got me a J chain. A little Taylor Swift moment. I’m also a big gift-giving person. I think my love language is gift giving.”
