Influencer Klaudiaglam is fighting for her life after another social media star, RielleUK, allegedly drove over her following a shocking altercation.
RielleUK (real name Gabrielle Carrington) is facing an attempted murder charge, for which she appeared in court on Tuesday, April 21, as she was remanded in custody, according to the Manchester Evening News. Carringon, 29, did not enter any pleas, per the report.
Carrington, a former X Factor finalist from 2013, is accused of trying to kill Klaudiaglam, whose real name is Klaudia Zakrzewska, by striking the social media star with her Mercedes outside the Inca nightclub in Soho, central London, in the early hours of Sunday, April 19.
Carrington has been charged with attempted murder, causing grievous bodily harm with intent, assault occasioning actual bodily harm, dangerous driving and drink driving. Police said there is “extremely graphic footage” captured showing the alleged incident unfold.
“The scene can only be described as lots of people shouting, it could be described as a melee, so to speak,” prosecutor Rizwan Amin told the court, per the report. Many individuals who were there were from a nearby nightclub including security staff members. The full extent of the incident wasn’t appreciated at the time officers had attended.”
He continued, “Further checks of CCTV show that Ms Carrington had arrived in Argyll Street in her car, which was nearby to the Inca nightclub. “This altercation escalated, involving several other members of the public. Security staff tried to intervene to separate those involved. Ms Carrington was then seen to re-enter the vehicle.”
The prosecutor said things went awry when Carrington “immediately moved off and sharply mounted the pavement” and struck Zakrzewska, “who was [positioned] to the front side of the vehicle and she was dragged forwards and dropped between the vehicle and a metal bike rack.”
Carrington’s vehicle allegedly struck a security staffer as well as another bystander, the first of whom sustained “life-changing injuries” while the latter was treated for “minor injuries.”
Authorities have since urged members of the public to come forward if they have any information relevant to the case, according to the New York Post.
“While this incident took place in the early hours of the morning, venues in the area were still open, and we believe a number of people will have seen what happened,” Detective Chief Inspector Alixon Foxwell said in a statement.
