Ingrid Michaelson has moved on from her split from husband Greg Laswell. The songstress stepped out at for Danny Elfman’s "Music from the Films of Tim Burton" event which opened the Lincoln Center Festival in New York City on Monday, July 6, with new beau Will Chase.
Michaelson performed "Sally's Song" from A Nightmare Before Christmas at the event, which honored the Oscar-nominated composer. Prior to the big show, Michaelson, 35, arrived in character as Sally and happily walked the red carpet arm in arm with actor and singer Chase, 44. Following the performance the two made their way together to the after party at Tavern On The Green in Central Park.
Michaelson split from Laswell this past February. "After careful consideration, and with mutual respect, we have decided to separate," the couple told Us in a joint statement. "We ask for privacy as we navigate this time in our lives."
Chase, for his part, dated the Mysteries of Laura star Debra Messing for almost three years until they called it quits in October 2014.
"Debra Messing and Will Chase have ended their two-and-a-half year relationship," Messing's rep told Us at the time, "but remain close friends."
The exes romanced each other in 2011 while starring on now-canceled musical drama series Smash.
