Netflix stars Casey Douglass and David Atkinson tied the knot for the second time in Italy — and Us has all the details inside their intimate celebration.
The Ultimatum: Marry or Move On couple exchanged vows at Belmond Hotel Caruso in Ravello, Italy, with only 38 guests.
Douglass, 34, exclusively told Us, “The ceremony was stunning, overlooking the mountains and ocean,” noting her uncle Brent Douglass officiated the wedding.
“We decided not to have any bridesmaids or groomsmen. We wanted to keep it simple and timeless by keeping it just us and our officiant,” she shared on Tuesday, September 29.
The bride wore a gorgeous off-the-shoulder lace and semi-sheer gown from Berta’s Privée collection while Atkinson, 33, dressed in a classic black Calvin Klein tux.
Douglass told Us that she wore her best friend Melisa Ross’ veil: “That was my something borrowed.”
Her accessories for the wedding held a special place in her heart.
“I wore my mother’s pearl studs for the wedding. She passed away when I was 13, so it was important for me to have a little bit of my mother with me. That was my something old,” the reality star said.
For the reception, Douglass changed into a second dress: a stunning Romilly Gown by Babyboo Fashion.
The newlyweds, who originally said “I do” during The Ultimatum: Marry or Move On season 4’s reunion episode that aired in July, made sure their guests were wined and dined throughout the night.
Us can reveal they served a four-course meal that included eggplant ravioli with handmade pasta, almond-crusted red snapper with zucchini and baked tomatoes, provolone del Monaco cheese flan, tiramisu and more.
Douglass and Atkinson’s wedding cake was an iconic Amalfi Coast dessert called Delizia al Limone, a sponge cake filled with lemon cream.
They spared no expense on entertainment for their special day either.
“During cocktail hour, we had a string trio playing modern mainstream music. The guests loved that,” the bride explained. “There was a DJ as well as a saxophonist during the reception, which was a hit.”
During cocktail hour, their guests nibbled on endless hors d’oeuvres that included toasted almonds, tarallini and olives; Neapolitan bruschetta with ricotta cheese and anchovy fillet marinated in citrus, mozzarella, cherry tomatoes and basil pesto; focaccia bread with Parma ham, mascarpone cheese and green olives; skewer with mozzarella cheese, melon and fresh mint; sfogliatella, Neapolitan pastry with ricotta cheese and cold cuts; potatoes croquettas and crispy shrimps with cornmeal, and more.
Their special weekend kicked off with a welcome party the night before the wedding.
Douglass and Atkinson greeted their wedding guests at Mimí Pizzeria & Cucina in Ravello, Italy.
“This place is known by the locals for their amazing pizza. We had an open bar and plenty of appetizers and pizza!” she told Us.
The Ultimatum couple shared the first pics from their wedding in a joint Instagram post on September 15.
“Locked in for life. Mr. & Mrs Atkinson. 🔐,” the groom captioned the first carousel.
The couple met online more than five years ago and gained fame by appearing on season 4 of The Ultimatum: Marry or Move On.
Douglass and Atkinson got engaged on the finale before surprising host Nick Lachey during the reunion special and asking him to marry them on-camera. (Lachey, 52, is ordained in California.)
