Sleep with one eye open! Jack Black might be starring in a new comedy, preparing for the debut of his HBO series The Brink, and working on new music with Tenacious D, but the 45-year-old jokester is still intimidated by his 6-year-old son Thomas.
“My boys are awesome,” Black told Us Weekly at the Hollywood premiere of his film The D Train on Monday, April 27. “My little boy [Thomas] doesn’t love me anymore. But my big boy [Samuel], I’m still doing good with him. But I think it’s going to work out in the end.”
Black even took it a step farther, joking that his youngest might have it out for him.
“Sometimes I’m afraid my little one is going to murder me,” he quipped. “Sometimes there’s some genuine rage in his eyes. And he told me he’s going to kill me. But I think it’s just a phase.”
Let’s hope so!
Black and his wife of 9 years, Tanya Haden, are parents to both 8-year-old Samuel and Thomas. In addition to his more mature roles, Black is also known for his kid-friendly flicks. He is currently working on the movie Goosebumps, in which he will play spooky author R.L. Stine and is voicing his beloved panda Po in Kung Fu Panda 3.
