Jason Derulo isn’t ridin’ solo anymore. The singer is dating 50 Cent’s ex-girlfriend and baby mama Daphne Joy, a source confirms to Us Weekly.
“It’s brand new,” the source tells Us. “They’re hanging out and seeing where it goes.” According to an insider, the two “started getting cool in London a few weeks ago.”
And Derulo, 26, is already feeling nostalgic. “#FlashBackFriday #London #GoodTimes @daphnejoy,” Derulo captioned an Instagram post of them looking swank together on Friday, Nov. 20, which he later deleted.
Derulo and longtime girlfriend Jordin Sparks called it quits last year. Following their nasty split — Sparks insinuated that the “Try Me” crooner cheated on her, and the two threw shade back and forth for months — Derulo told Billboard it would take a “miracle” for him to get into another relationship.
"I do get tired of playing nice," the "Trumpets" singer told Billboard. "Especially when people think I did something wrong, or that she broke up with me. But it's so behind me."
Derulo appears to be in the past for 25-year-old Sparks too. The American Idol Season 6 champ is currently dating Sage the Gemini.
Joy and 50 Cent are parents to a 3-year-old son named Sire.
