Jennie Garth has a new man in her life! The 41-year-old actress is dating Michael Shimbo, sources confirm to Us Weekly. Shimbo is the CEO of a San Francisco-based company called Planes, Trains and Automobiles.
“They met through a friend. They’ve been seeing each other for a couple months now,” a source tells Us. “They are great together,” another added. “Super sweet.”
The couple haven’t exactly been quiet about their new relationship on social media, often posting pictures of one another via Instagram. They also attended the Comedy Central Roast of James Franco together in Culver City, Calif., on Aug. 25.
“I mean…@shimbo #luckylady,” the former 90210 star captioned alongside a picture of Shimbo on Thursday, in which the handsome blonde posed for the camera in a black and white shot. Garth and her new beau also spent time with her former co-star Shannen Doherty and her husband Kurt Iswarienko two weeks prior.
The new romance isn’t the first for Garth since splitting from Peter Facinelli in March 2012 either. Some of her past flames include photographer Noah Abrams in August 2012 and indie-musician Jeremy Salken in January 2013. Facinelli, 39, has also moved on, dating actress Jaimie Alexander since November 2012. The two co-starred on Showtime’s Nurse Jackie and in 2012’s Loosies.
Garth and the Twilight actor finalized their divorce in June 2013 and have three daughters together; Luca, 15, Lola, 10, and Fiona, 6.
