No kisses, please! Jennifer Lawrence was feeling well enough to attend the 19th Annual Screen Actors' Guild Awards at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles on Sunday Jan. 27 — one day after calling in sick for Australian Academy of Cinema and Television Awards.
The Silver Linings Playbook actress' costar, Jacki Weaver, told the crowd on Saturday, "poor Jen is really sick . . . She has pneumonia."
But at the SAGs, the 22-year-old nominee was a vision in Dior — and if she's still feeling under the weather, she concealed it well! "Everyone is scared of me," Lawrence joked to a concerned Giuliana Rancic during E!'s live pre-show. "I'm like, I'm fine!" (Lawrence paired her Dior gown with glittering jewelry from Chopard: a 38-carat diamond necklace and emerald-cut 6-carat diamond studs and a diamond ring. She wore Jimmy Choo "Tease" sandals.)
As Rancic continued to fret, Lawrence quipped: "I had walking pneumonia, and it is highly contagious." On Saturday, Silver Linings' producer Bruce Cohen explained that Lawrence "hasn't gotten enough bed rest." (Check out more photos of Jennifer Lawrence on the red red carpet at the SAGs via PopSugar!)
Thus rested up, the actress (already a Golden Globe Best Actress winner for her role in Silver Linings) told Rancic how her sense of high style is evolving. "I'm starting to appreciate clothes, definitely, but i didn't feel that way before in my childhood." Growing up, the beauty explained, "I was literally wearing my brothers' clothing."
