Jenny McCarthy is singled out yet again.
After being linked to Chicago Bears linebacker Brian Urlacher in April, the 39-year-old model and TV host tells Us Weekly they have "decided to turn our romance into an amazing friendship. I will continue to be the biggest cheerleader for him. Go, Bears!"
During a July 16 appearance on Chelsea Lately, McCarthy opened up about her relationship with the NFL player while chatting with longtime pal Chelsea Handler, 37. "It's going really good. I didn't have to find love in the wild," McCarthy joked, referring her NBC dating series. "I found it on the football field."
"That's very exciting. I'm happy for you," Handler told McCarthy. "You were dating some real f-cking losers."
McCarthy, who is a Chicago native, was married to actor/director John Mallory Asher from 2001 to 2005; they have a son, Evan, 10. The Playboy model also had a long-term relationship with Dumb & Dumber's Jim Carrey from 2005 to 2010.
Urlacher, who underwent arthroscopic surgery on his left knee August 14, was linked to Paris Hilton, 31, in 2003. The 34-year-old athlete has three children from previous relationships.
