Talk about a story! When Jeremy Calvert posted a photo of himself handcuffed and getting into the back of a police car on Monday, December 28, many fans of the Teen Mom 2 star began to speculate about whether or not Leah Messer’s ex was behind bars.
Luckily, the West Virginia native revealed on Instagram that the picture was a throwback and not a recent run-in with the law.
“Ha found this on my old phone what a night,” he captioned the same shot he posted on Twitter.
Calvert later clarified the pic to Us Weekly, tweeting, “Friend of mine is a cop so in return I got a dirty joke played on me years ago after turning 21.”
The pipeline worker has been more active on social media lately, posting sweet pics of his and Messer’s daughter, Addie, and tweeting with his Teen Mom 2 costars.
“There’s this girl who stole my [heart] she calls me Daddy,” he wrote on top of a photo collage of himself and the 2-year-old Addie.
