Jim Curtis is shedding light on his relationship with girlfriend Jennifer Aniston.

“We do a lot of meditation,” Curtis, 50, shared on the Monday, August 31, episode of the “The Jamie Kern Lima Show” about his and Aniston’s romance. “We do a lot of talk.”

The hypnotist went on to explain that there are “different tools” that are “really beneficial” at “different stages in your relationship.”

“Jen and I have been together a year and a half, so this tool isn’t the first tool that we go to,” Curtis said, to which host Jamie Kern Lima asked whether the “first tool” they utilize is meditation.

He replied, “Yeah, meditation. Acceptance, understanding. Those kind of things. In a honeymoon phase, your tools don’t have to be big sledgehammers.”

Curtis and Aniston, 57, initially crossed paths thanks to mutual friends. When asked to share the couple’s “origin story” on a January episode of the Today show, Curtis explained that the pair began talking and ultimately formed a close bond.

“We found out that we had mutual friends, and we started to just chat,” he said at the time. “And it took a long time. We chatted for a long time, and we became close.”

Months prior, Aniston shared that she and Curtis had initially formed a connection over their wellness interests. In her November 2025 interview with Elle, Aniston described Curtis as “quite extraordinary.”

“Hypnotism is one of the many things that he does,” she said at the time, adding that Curtis is “very special, very normal and very kind.”

The pair have since been spotted out and about with her inner circle. While out to dinner in Los Angeles on Tuesday, August 25, Aniston and Curtis were joined by her former Friends costars Courteney Cox and Lisa Kudrow and close pal Jason Bateman.

In December 2025, a source exclusively told Us that Curtis “blends in seamlessly” with Aniston’s close-knit group of friends.

“He’s really social and outgoing. Jen can bring him anywhere, and it’s easy. They’ve become one big, happy group,” the insider shared in an Us cover story, while a separate source added, “Everyone who knows Jen is so happy for her. She’s an amazing person who’s universally loved. They all think this is going to last and that Jim is The One.”

Before her relationship with Curtis, Aniston was married to Brad Pitt from 2000 to 2005 and Justin Theroux from 2015 to 2018.
