Johnny is her gift, no? Johnny Depp celebrated his fiancee Amber Heard's 28th birthday a day early in New York City on Monday, April 21. The engaged couple held hands as they made their way to II Buco, an upscale Italian eatery in the NoHo neighborhood, for a late dinner.
Depp, 50, kept his love close as they bundled up during the night out. Heard wore a red velvet jacket with a bold red lip while the Lone Ranger actor donned a black peacoat and his usual light brown hat. Earlier in the day, the twosome were photographed looking more casual as they headed into their hotel.
Depp's latest Transcendence film may have bombed at the box office, but all is clearly going well in his personal life. The heartthrob has been rocking a woman's style engagement ring and has been making the rounds on talk shows discussing (the tiniest bit!) his future wife. (As previously reported, Depp initially presented Heard with the ring he now wears, but it was too big for her.)
"She's a wonderful girl," Depp said on the Today show earlier this month. "She's sharp as a tack. A southern belle and sweet as can be, and very good for me."
As for a baby on the way? "Good god, what do you think I am, a savage?" he quipped. "No, no truth to that. It's not a shotgun affair."
