Johnny and the boys! Johnny Depp made a surprise appearance as he took the stage with Steven Tyler and the rest of Aerosmith at their show in Mansfield, Mass., on Wednesday, July 16.

The 51-year-old actor (with his electric guitar in hand!) rocked out with the legendary band during the song "Train Kept A Rollin." Fitting right in, he wore jeans, a black button-down and black hat, and took center stage between frontman Tyler and lead guitarist Joe Perry. Depp's fiancee Amber Heard was also in the crowd to support him, a source adds to Us Weekly.

Depp has been getting plenty of jam sessions in as of late. The Pirates of the Caribbean alum recently joined Willie Nelson at his show at the Blue Hills Bank Pavillion on June 18. The star also joined Nelson's band on their tour bus for a photo op.

Depp is currently on location in Boston while shooting his upcoming biopic Black Mass, where he portrays real-life mobster James "Whitey" Bulger. Heard, 28, is currently filming The Adderall Diaries in NYC, but has been photographed visiting him on set several times.
