JoJo Siwa and her boyfriend Chris Hughes are revealing how they plan to navigate the holidays amid their long-distance romance.
“We would love to know,” Siwa, 23, joked exclusively to Us while attending the Gala of the Stars event benefiting Dancers Against Cancer on Thursday, October 22.
Hughes, 33, admitted that the pair are less prepared for the upcoming holiday season than they were last year.
“We actually don’t know. Last year we had a plan all set out, and you came over to my house. I actually don’t know where we’ll be,” he explained.“ I might be over here. We could be over there, or we could just split it between the two.”
Siwa then came up with a holiday game plan out of the blue.

“You know what we should do?” she asked the Love Island UK alum. “We would wake up in the morning in England on Christmas, but get on an airplane midday. We would land here on Christmas, so we could actually spend Christmas in both!”
While Hughes admired her enthusiasm for sharing the holiday between both families, he did cop to having one concern about his girlfriend’s suggestion.
“The issue is you’d miss the Christmas lunch, though, don’t you?” he said. “It’s one of the worst ideas I’ve ever heard.”
Hughes said he believes the best way to navigate international holiday schedules is to swap destinations — spend one year in England and the next in America.
“Switch over. That’s the fair way to do it,” Hughes told Us.
The pair might not have their holiday plans fully carved out yet, but they are enjoying living together part-time.
Siwa and Hughes, who have been dating since 2025 after meeting on the Celebrity Big Brother UK set, are living in a home the former Dance Moms star purchased.
“Tell them how much you have in that house!” Siwa told her boyfriend, who confirmed to Us that he has his own closet, cabinet and a drawer.
The couple might not share a closet, but they do share one bathroom sink.
“I’m gonna give you a hot take on this one. Everyone told me, ‘Make sure you get two sinks in your bathroom,’” Siwa said. “I got one because the boy’s sink will always just get gross. But I thought if it’s my sink, if it’s a girl sink, I’ll clean it often. … That’s why we have one.”
Siwa and Hughes made their red carpet debut at the Gala of the Stars event in 2025. They told Us how much has changed for them as a couple over the past year.
“I think that, from a relationship point of view, we’ve learned about each other, as anyone does in a kind of relationship, and we navigated a way of doing long-distance and everything like that,” Hughes shared.
The pair celebrated their first in May.
“The greatest gift I’ve ever received in life was 365 days ago🤍,” Siwa captioned a number of videos throughout their relationship. “What a beautiful year it’s been with you by my side. I wake up with more love every day, more gratitude every day, and a bigger smile on my face every day.” She continued, “From every phone call, to every plane ride, to every memory made together in the last year, I’m grateful for every single one and when I look back, I just smile to myself peacefully feeling so complete. Happy one year to the one I love, my bestest friend. ❤️.”
