Klaus has found his better half! The Originals' Joseph Morgan is engaged to his girlfriend Persia White, his rep confirms to Us Weekly.
"We really appreciate those of you who have supported our wild, creative, passionate and unlikely relationship," the couple tells Us in a statement. "We have found a rare and precious thing; true love. We wish you all the same."
Morgan, 32, first met his bride-to-be, 41, on the set of The Vampire Diaries in season 3. Since then, the British actor has reprised his role in its spinoff, The Originals. Morgan is currently promoting the drama at the CW Upfronts in New York City, and the series is set to return for a second season this fall.
Morgan (and that irresistible grin!) briefly touched on his relationship with the actress-musician last September. "You know, I'm very happy, it's great," he told HuffPost Live. "I'm lucky enough, she came with me to New York to enjoy a little bit of the city. I get the weekend off so we get to experience a little of that. But that's all I'm going to put out there, I'm going to keep the rest for myself."
As for his response to his engagement? "Thanks for all the love," he said via Twitter on May 14.
