Judge Damian Murray is not one of Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi's fans.
In a Seaside Heights, NJ court on Wednesday, the Jersey Shore star, 22, listened as Judge Murray criticized the drunken behavior that led to her July 30 arrest by the boardwalk, according to TMZ. (The pint-sized party girl was subsequently charged with creating a public nuisance, disorderly conduct and annoying beach-goers.)
Telling the court she was "very embarrassed" by the episode, Polizzi pled guilty Wednesday to the "annoying" charge, but the two other offenses were dismissed. Although she initially faced 90 days in jail, the star was ultimately sentenced to two days of community service and a $533 fine.
Scoffing, Judge Murray derided Polizzi as a "Lindsay Lohan wannabe." He also wondered whether the star's antics weren't pre-scripted for her hit reality show; he told her to decide if "it was worth trading your dignity for a paycheck."
He added that her actions were "rude and self-indulgent."
Snooki Tweeted to fans just after her day in court: "Ah never again! So scary…thank you judge for understanding, I'm very thankful for that! Whew…now I can breath!
