She's a rising Hollywood star on the big and small screens — but Julianne Hough didn't seem her usual, bubbly self on Friday, March 15. Clad in a black-and-white print dress, leather jacket, sunglasses and fedora, the blonde Safe Haven actress, 24, failed to crack her usual smile as she headed into a Beverly Hills hair salon.
Her glum demeanor was explained just a few hours later, of course, as sources confirmed that Hough and Ryan Seacrest have split after two years together. (The Dancing with the Stars alum kept more of a poker face lunching with a friend at Barney Greengrass one day earlier. "She didn't mention anything and seemed totally fine," an onlooker tells Us.)
"I think this is for good," a pal says of Hough and the always on-the-go American Idol judge, 38. "They both just sort of knew they couldn't do it anymore."
Says another insider: "He never sleeps! It's a lifestyle she couldn't handle anymore."
