Looks like Matthew McConaughey is working hard to keep up his physique for his new wife, Camila Alves.
On Tuesday, three days after swapping vows with the Brazilian model in a sunset ceremony at their home in Austin, Texas, Magic Mike's McConaughey headed to a local gym wearing a brand-new accessory: His wedding ring.
Covering up in a gray Livestrong hoodie and sunglasses, McConaughey, 42, proudly put his ring on display when exiting the fitness facility. It is the first time he has been photographed since saying "I do" with Alves as part of a three-day wedding extravaganza.
Attended by celebrities including Woody Harrelson, Reese Witherspoon (and her husband, Jim Toth), John Cougar Mellancamp and Meg Ryan, McConaughey and Alves' nuptials had a rustic feel. Setting up a makeshift, high-end campground for guests to stay the weekend on their Texas property, the couple outfitted their land with air conditioned tents, gourmet goodies and plenty of entertainment.
When it came time for McConaughey to swap vows with Alves — the mother of his two children, Levi, 3, and Vida, 2 — Mellencamp sang a song for the newlyweds based on a bible verse.
"It was a great night for everyone," a source told Us Weekly after the festivities, which also included a reception where guests — and the newlyweds — boogied to the sounds of a live band playing American pop and Brazilian rock hits.
When McConaughey and his new bride, 30, hit the dance floor, "You could definitely tell [Matthew] was in love," an eyewitness told Us.
