Lucky ducks! Duck Dynasty star Justin Martin is engaged to marry girlfriend Brittany Brugman, the couple announced via Twitter on Thursday, May 1.
Martin, who gained fame as an employee of the Robertson family’s famed Duck Commander duck call company, popped the question to Brugman with a round-cut diamond ring, which she showed off to fans in an Instagram photo.
“He liked it so he put a ring on it,” she captioned the pic. “I can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with @friar_martin_dc! #BestBirthday”
Martin retweeted the photo, and then added his own announcement. “Yes it’s true I finally put a ring on it Si!” he wrote, presumably referring to Si Robertson, brother to Duck Commander patriarch Phil Robertson. “@BrittanyBrugman said yes! Blessed far beyond what I deserve! Here’s to forever!”
Later, he added, “Can’t thank yall enough for the support following our announcement!! Both @BrittanyBrugman and I are truly humbled. Y’all are the best fans!”
Fellow Duck Dynasty star Jessica Robertson, wife to Phil and Miss Kay‘s youngest son, Jep Robertson, sent her best wishes to the happy couple soon after. “My brother from another mother got engaged!!! Congrats @friar_martin_dc & @BrittanyBrugman. I’m soooo excited for y’all!”
