JWoww Swaps Engagement Stories, Ring Details With Jersey Shore Stylist Jeni Elizabeth

When Jenni “JWoww” Farley said “yes” to now-fiance Roger Mathews‘ proposal in September, little did the Jersey Shore star know that he’d already gotten a little help from her friends in preparation for the big day.

Farley’s stylist pal Jeni Elizabeth, who recently got engaged herself, tells Us Weekly that she helped advise Mathews before he officially asked JWoww for her hand in marriage.

“A while back I had met an amazing woman Layna Silvagni Friedman who owned an insane jewelry store in Beverly Hills,” she told Us. “Jenni and I … knew from day one that if and when Jenni and Roger got engaged we would for sure use Layna to design the ring.”

Elizabeth, who introduced Silvagni to Mathews to collaborate on an engagement ring design, said she couldn’t resist dropping a subtle hint to JWoww’s soon-to-be fiance.

“I had whispered in Layna and Roger’s ear that adding some pink touches to that ring would be every girl’s dream. In the end I literally teared up when I saw the diamond engagement ring that Roger and Layna had designed. I could think of nothing bigger or better for one of my best friends!”

JWoww, 26, returned the favor when Elizabeth’s boyfriend, Jim Bianco, decided to pop the question earlier this month. As the Jersey Shore star revealed to Us, Bianco wanted to put the ring on his girlfriend’s dog but couldn’t get the stylist to leave the house long enough for him to do it — so he called on her BFF to come up with a distraction.

“I knew…that she was going to die when she walked in and saw the ring,” JWoww told Us. “Jim had designed [it] himself with a woman named Marcia Caden. It’s so funny, because I had said to Jeni a couple of days before, ‘When Jim proposes, that ring is going to be insane and beautiful.’ And it is! I couldn’t be happier for Jeni. She is so very happy and so in love, and we are both engaged!”

JWoww showed off her own impressive 5-carat sparkler during Jersey Shore‘s final season premiere party at NYC’s Bagatelle on Oct. 4 a few days after news broke that Mathews, 37, had popped the question when the pair of two-and-a-half years went on a skydiving trip.

“I want to hit up every rockstar place in Las Vegas with my wedding party,” she told Us at the bash.

As for her wedding gown, JWoww said she wants to keep it Jersey Shore classy — and just a little bit sassy.

“I just want my boobs out,” she laughed. “I don’t think I could hide them if I wanted to.”
