Going out with a big bang! Kaley Cuoco has finalized her divorce from Ryan Sweeting more than seven months after the pair announced their split, Us Weekly can confirm.
The former couple’s divorce docs — which were filed on Friday, May 6 — revealed the settlement agreement between the Big Bang Theory star, 30, and the former tennis pro, 28. Because the pair had a prenuptial agreement, all the money Cuoco earned from her hit CBS sitcom is protected.
The actress reportedly signed a $72 million contract for the long-running comedy a few months after the pair tied the knot in 2013, and she will get to keep all of it, according to the documents. As for the property, she gets their home in the Tarzana neighborhood of Los Angeles and their Santa Barbara–area beach home.
Sweeting is walking away with just $165,000, which the actress is to transfer in two payments. Plus, the 8 Simple Rules alum will pay the $195,000 bill for his two personal trainers and up to $55,000 in attorneys fees. The athlete gets to keep whatever cash and gift certificates he may have.
The couple announced their separation in September after almost 21 months of marriage. “Kaley Cuoco and Ryan Sweeting have mutually decided to end their marriage,” her rep said in a statement to Us at the time. “They ask for privacy at this time.”
Now the Wedding Ringer actress has moved on with pro equestrian boyfriend Karl Cook. The two have been spotted smooching and showing PDA since they first started dating in March. The CBS star confirmed their relationship on Instagram in April by calling him “bae.”
