Kaley Cuoco Jokes About Being in a ‘Very Serious Relationship’ the Same Day She Finalizes Divorce

Alrighty then! Big Bang Theory star Kaley Cuoco joked about her committed romantic status on the Late Show with Stephen Colbert on Monday, May 9 — the same day she finalized her divorce with Ryan Sweeting.

Cuoco, 30, walked out onto Colbert's NYC studio set on Monday, holding the hand of a new mystery man, who was clad in a banana suit.

"I just thought I would take this time, since everyone is so concerned with who I'm dating, to say that is who I'm dating," the sitcom actress joked, while pointing in the general vicinity of the banana man. (Or as Colbert described him, "the manana.")

"The banana man," Cuoco continued. "We're in a very serious relationship. Yes."

Jokes aside, Cuoco was accompanied to the taping on Monday by her current boyfriend, billionaire heir Karl Cook, who she's been dating since March.

Television's highest paid actress, who's tied with Sofia Vergara, had an eventful day before she appeared on Colbert. Earlier that morning, Cuoco finalized her divorce from tennis player Sweeting, less than two years after they tied the knot on New Year's Eve in December 2013. Us Weekly broke the news that the two were separating after 21 months of marriage in September 2015. She and Sweeting had a prenuptial agreement, which protected her millions in assets. She will pay her ex $165,000 in two payments, along with his attorneys fees.

In an interview with Ellen DeGeneres this past February, Cuoco got emotional about her failed marriage — but stayed hopeful for what's ahead. “You know, so I already feel like 2016 is going to be a much better year than 2015,” the star told DeGeneres. “And you know, it’s been rough, but things are going good. I’m much, much better now. I’m in a much better place than I was.”
