Kanye West has been released from the hospital, multiple sources tell Us Weekly. The rapper, who was admitted to UCLA Medical Center November 21, is resting at home, as first reported by X17Online. His release comes after the “Famous” singer sought treatment at the hospital for more than a week after being hospitalized for extreme exhaustion.
As previously reported, West’s workload and stress over wife Kim Kardashian’s Paris robbery on October 3, as well as the anniversary of his mother’s death, contributed to his breakdown.
“He’s been shaken up ever since the robbery in Paris,” an insider previously explained to Us. “It did a number on him as much as Kim. The mere thought that anything could happen to her sent him in a tailspin. He wasn’t sleeping, and he was having nightmares about it.”
Kardashian, for her part, was by West’s side throughout his hospitalization. The Keeping Up With the Kardashian star would visit with West regularly, despite the toll the ordeal took on their marriage.
“It’s just been hell for them,” another source tells Us Weekly in the new issue, on newsstands now, of Kimye’s marital issues prior to West’s hospitalization. “Kanye’s behavior took a huge toll on their marriage,” says the source. “But Kim feels relieved he is getting the help he needs. She thinks this is what it will take to save him — and help their marriage.”
