Gone but never forgotten. On what would have been Robert Kardashian’s 72nd birthday, Monday, February 22, his famous children took to social media to honor his memory. Kim, Kourtney, Khloé and their half sisters Kendall and Kylie Jenner all paid their respects to the late lawyer, who died at age 59 in 2003 of esophageal cancer.
“Happy Birthday dad! So much has gone on in our lives since you’ve been gone, and I know you have been my guardian angel seeing it all unfold!” Kim, who has two kids, North and Saint, with husband Kanye West, wrote. “I love you and miss you so much!”
She then shared the first photo of her 2-month-old son to celebrate her dad’s big day. “Today is my dad’s birthday,” the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star, 35, explained on her app. “I know there’s nothing more in the world he would have wanted than to meet his grandchildren. So I wanted to share this pic of Saint with you all.”
Kourtney, 36, also sent her best wishes: “Happy birthday to my favorite man in the world who taught me everything. I know you are with me but I wish I could hug you. I love you Daddy.”
Khloé, 31, uploaded an adorable throwback pic of her younger self with her father. “To the best man I’ve ever known, happy birthday daddy,” she captioned the touching ‘gram. “I miss you! I miss you! I miss you! Man… I wish we had more pictures together.”
Kendall, 20, also offered up a cute flashback photo of herself being held in Kardashian’s arms alongside her little sister, Kylie. “Happy birthday,” she tweeted. “We miss you.” Kendall and Kylie’s mom, Kris, had them with Caitlyn Jenner after Kris and Kardashian divorced in 1991.

While Kardashian’s only son, Rob, has yet to post, Kylie, 18, kindly included her older brother in her tribute. “Rob is a spitting image of his dad. I love this pic,” she wrote next to a sweet shot of the father-son duo. “Happy Birthday Robert.”
Robert Kardashian’s name has been back in the news since the premiere of FX’s new miniseries, American Crime Story: The People v. O.J. Simpson, in which David Schwimmer portrays him.
