Kat Dennings, Josh Groban Split After Nearly Two Years of Dating

Another summer split. Kat Dennings and Josh Groban are going their separate ways after nearly two years of dating, Us Weekly can confirm.

Us revealed in October 2014 that the actress, 30, and Groban, 35, were dating. They made their first red carpet appearance together at the Carousel of Hope Ball in Beverly Hills that same month.

Dennings, who was introduced to Groban by her 2 Broke Girls costar Beth Behrs, opened up about her beau on The Ellen DeGeneres Show in October 2014. “He’s very witty on the Twitter and I saw his little tweets … and sometimes we would [tweet back and forth],” she said at the time. “She’s always talked about how great he is. They’ve been friends for years. And she thought we were both, you know, nerds. So there, she was right.”

DeGeneres later asked the “You Raise Me Up” singer about Dennings in May 2015. “She’s such a brilliant and funny person,” he said at the time. “Humor is such a huge thing for me, so, you know, the fact that we could talk about Monty Python and all sorts of weird other things, I was like, ‘OK, yeah, we’re on the same page.’”

Dennings and Groban last stepped out together at Clive Davis’ pre-Grammys gala in Beverly Hills in February.

The Croods 2 actress previously dated Nick Zano from 2011 to 2014 and was briefly linked to Ryan Gosling. Groban romanced Mad Men alum January Jones from 2003 to 2006.
