Dignified Duchess!

Prince William's wife joined Duchess Camilla to honor those who died serving their country for Remembrance Day on Sunday. Kate Middleton, 29, and Camilla, 64, both wore all black and pinned Poppy flowers on their coats at the Cenotaph in London. (Remembrance Day is also referred to as Poppy Day in the U.K.)

The royal family understands the sacrifices made by those in the military and their families. Early next year, William, 29, will be deployed to the Falkland Islands, England's Ministry of Defense said in a Thursday statement last week. The Prince (whose Royal Air Force title is Flight Lieutenant William Wales) will join a crew of three other RAF personnel as part of his training and advancement as a Search and Rescue pilot.

A royal source adds that pilot William's deployment will last about six weeks — certainly the longest time he and Kate have been apart since their April 29 wedding of this year.

Currently stationed in El Centro, Calif., Harry is taking part in Exercise Crimson Eagle, the final part of his Apache training. When he finishes the course he will be assigned to an Apache squadron with 16 Air Assault Brigade and await deployment to Afghanistan.
