Understated much? Katy Perry traded in her usual colorful outfits for two relatively mellow Halloween costumes that she shared via Instagram on Saturday, Oct. 31.
In one hilarious snapshot, the “Dark Horse” singer outfitted herself as a giant microphone (face paint included!) and lay on her side on a printed rug with the caption “Drops mic on your Halloween.”
A short clip she later posted showed her teetering sideways and finally falling onto a couch in slow motion, set to the tune of her pal Snoop Dogg’s “Drop It Like It’s Hot.”
Just a few hours earlier, Perry, 31, took on a different tone with a shot she shared of herself with giant eyes painted on her eyelids. The pop songstress even had a few sparkly teardrops painted onto her cheek.
“Shoutout last night’s sad girls club,” she captioned the stunning shot.
This isn’t Perry’s first foray into the chiller side of Halloween, however. Last year, she dressed up as a Flamin’ Hot Cheeto and posted a short video of herself singing Celine Dion’s “All By Myself” as a “sad cheat that no one wanted to cuddle at the end of the night.”
