Cute couple!
Kelly Clarkson and her new boyfriend, talent manager Brandon Blackstock, made their debut as a couple at a Barn Party Bonfire Celebration last Thursday in Whites Creek, Tennessee on May 31.
Clarkson, 30, and Blackstock, 35, — the son of her manager, Narvel Blackstock, and Reba McEntire's stepson — have been dating since late last year.
The couple attended the event at Cowboy Town to help celebrate Miranda Lambert and Blake Shelton's singles "Over You" and "Drink On It" going No. 1 on the Billboard Country Chart. The "Stronger" singer went makeup-free for the occasion, but that didn't stop her from proudly posing with her new beau.
"I'm so happy now," she told Us Weekly at a roundtable for her new ABC singing competition show, Duets. "I love that I'm in a relationship right now . . .I want a life. . . The past five years or so I've found my groove and my balance."
The "Since You've Been Gone" singer joked that her former "tough songs" are now turning into "butterflies and rainbows."
"I'm too happy! He's ruining my creativity!" she joked. "I'm writing all this happy sh–! It's killing me."
"People are going to be like, 'What the hell happened to you?' It's difficult. But awesome!" she added. "I'm not complaining. It's an awesome problem to have."
