Kelly Osbourne is giving a candid update on her health after admitting she lost a significant amount of weight in the wake of her father Ozzy Osbourne’s death.
“I didn’t know what I looked like that until I saw the pictures,” Kelly, 41, told The Sun in an interview published on Saturday, October 10, revealing that she has since gained 30 pounds since publicly acknowledging her dramatic weight loss. “When I saw them, I couldn’t f***ing believe it. I was as shocked as everyone else. It wasn’t an eating disorder. I just couldn’t do anything for myself. Eating made me feel like I wanted to throw up.”
She continued, “In so many ways, I can’t even explain to you. But it’s also been really beautiful because I’ve learned that my grief is an honor, as I truly love someone that much.”
Kelly admitted to struggling to cope with the Black Sabbath frontman’s passing after her family confirmed his death on July 22, 2025, shortly after his final concert and a public battle with Parkinson’s. He was 76.
“It is with more sadness than mere words can convey that we have to report that our beloved Ozzy Osbourne has passed away this morning,” the family’s statement read at the time. “He was with his family and surrounded by love. We ask everyone to respect our family privacy at this time.”

After sparking concern for her health in the wake of her 2026 Grammy’s appearance, Kelly addressed her weight loss head-on.
“I looked like the f***ing Crypt Keeper,” Kelly told the Daily Mail in a September 5 interview. “I said, ‘This is scary. I didn’t know I looked like this.’ My spine — you could see every single bone. I couldn’t see what other people saw because I was in so much pain. I just saw a broken person.”
She continued at the time, while acknowledging that she was afraid her thin frame would distract from her father’s well-deserved on-stage tribute, “I wore a wig to cover my face, so you couldn’t see how skinny my cheekbones really were. They knew I was going through something. I was scared. I wanted to be there to support my mum and pay tribute to my father’s legacy. But in all honesty, when I reflect on it, I don’t think I should have gone. I wasn’t very well.”
Kelly had previously slammed public comments about her weight, denouncing online allegations she was using popular GLP-1 medications to slim down in the midst of her grief .
“I don’t even know how to say this, so I’m just gonna say it,” Kelly said in a video shared during her mom Sharon Osbourne’s December 10 appearance on Piers Morgan Uncensored. “To the people who keep thinking they’re being funny and mean by writing comments like ‘Are you ill?,’ or, ‘Get off Ozempic,’ [or] ‘You don’t look right.’ My dad just died. And I’m doing the best that I can, and the only thing I have to live for right now is my family.”
She continued, “And I choose to share my content with you and share the happy side of my life, not the miserable side of my life.”
