Kimye might consider themselves royalty, but even “Regal” Cinemas is not enough for them. A source tells Us Weekly that Kanye West and Kim Kardashian have installed a $35,000 Prima Cinema system into their $20 million Hidden Hills, Calif. mansion.
The home theater system “lets them watch a movie the same day it’s released in theaters,” the insider notes. But this movie ticket costs more than most people spend on utilities each month.
To download one film for 24 hours, the parents of little North West will shell out $500 each time.
And it turns out they aren’t the only Hollywood power couple willing to pay the big bucks for the at-home cinema experience. Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher and Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi all boast the high-tech gadget in their pads.
