Kim Kardashian is soaking up the summer with her boyfriend, F1 driver Lewis Hamilton, and her kids.
In a Monday, July 13, Instagram post, Kardashian, 45, smiled as she took a sweet selfie with Hamilton, 41, and daughter Chicago. (Kardashian shares daughters North, 13, and Chicago, 8, and sons Saint, 10, and Psalm, 7, with ex-husband Kanye West, whom she was married to from 2014 until filing for divorce in 2022. The proceedings were finalized the next year.)
In another image, Kardashian’s eldest daughter, North, gave a peace sign for the camera as she held a sparkler in one hand and looked off in the distance.
“Summers at the lake with my favorite people ✨🦋,” Kardashian captioned the upload.
Us Weekly confirmed in February that Hamilton and Kardashian, who had been longtime friends, had begun pursuing a romance. In June, an insider told Us that Hamilton had “spent time” with Kardashian’s kids.
“Lewis loves kids so it’s been fun for him,” the source told Us at the time. “The kids think Lewis is really cool, especially Chicago and Saint, who are completely fascinated by the fact that he drives race cars for a living.”
The pair have since given Us glimpses into their relationship, with Hamilton making a rare comment about Kardashian earlier this month.
“You’ve been a happier man recently, why’s that? Could that be a girlfriend?” a fan asked Hamilton on July 2 as he stood on stage at Silverstone in the U.K., via the Daily Mail.
Broadcaster David Croft then added, joking, “You know why he’s asking? He just needs to know if Kimi needs two towels or not,” seemingly referring to Kardashian accidentally using the towel of Mercedes driver Kimi Antonelli’s at the Monaco Gran Prix. (She later sent Antonelli, 19, a new towel after the incident.)
“Yeah, that’s a good one,” Hamilton said with a laugh, before reflecting on his F1 success. “Once you spend a year with this team, Ferrari is the most iconic team of all time, and they’ve had a difficult period of time. It’s such an amazing team and they’ve been so welcoming. The first year was obviously very tough but to finally see the hard work we’ve been putting in, it’s finally [getting] us back to where we want to be.”
Before concluding his remark, Hamilton then made a nod to Kardashian, adding, “And of course, of course it’s Kim.”
