Not quite the fairy-tale evening she likely imagined. Kim Kardashian's big night out at the Vienna Opera Ball on Thursday, Feb. 27, took a turn for the worse when a man in blackface approached her during the event and pretended to be her fiance, Kanye West.
The 33-year-old reality star — who stunned in a dramatic two-tone gown with sheer detailing on both the bodice and skirt — was posing for pictures with her date, Austrian businessman Richard Lugner, when the incident went down, a source confirms to Us Weekly. (TMZ was first to report the bizarre interaction.)
Later, TMZ reports, another man came up to her and asked her to dance — to "N—-rs in Vienna," an apparent reference to West's song "N—as in Paris."
Kardashian, for her part, has not commented on the incidents. Nor has mom Kris Jenner, who accompanied her to the Opera Ball. Jenner did, however, share a photo of the packed ballroom via Instagram, captioning it simply, "Wanna Dance?"
The Vienna Opera Ball is an annual society event that takes place at the Vienna State Opera in Austria. Lugner has a history of paying celebs to be his date to the function; his past guests have included Pamela Anderson, Carmen Electra, Paris Hilton, and Dita Von Teese.
