Keeping it tight and healthy, thank you very much! Kim Zolciak hopped onto Instagram to share her latest waist training selfie, and it came complete with a special message to anyone who's been speculating as to why she suffered a mini-stroke on Sept. 23.
Modeling a black dress, gladiator boots, and a purple waist trainer in a photo shared on Oct. 15, the mom of six, 37, wrote, "Good morning!!!! You guys know I love my @nowaistclique waist trainer, I have heard all sorts of ppl commenting on 'what might have caused my mini stroke' let me be real clear, I am a very healthy woman who takes great care of myself."
At that point, she explained her exact heart condition, which she first revealed last week on Good Morning America. "I was born with PFO (a hole in my heart) which enabled a clot to cross over and stop oxygen to my brain for a very short time in turn causing me to have a TIA, I will be having heart surgery to repair it," she said. "By no means did my waist trainer cause my blood clot or my TIA."
The Real Housewives of Atlanta alum, now the star of Bravo's Don't Be Tardy, also stressed, "I would never use anything nor promote anything that I personally didn't love or something that was dangerous. I LOVE LIFE WAY TOO MUCH! and I have a whole lotta living to do."
Zolciak, who's been married to football player Kroy Biermann since 2011, suffered a stroke last month after performing on Dancing With the Stars. Though she was cleared by her doctor to dance, she was unable to fly back to L.A. from her Atlanta home to compete, and was thus forced to withdraw from the massively popular series.
