More in love than ever. Kylie Jenner opened up about her relationship with Tyga — and the ups and downs that come with it — in a new interview with Complex magazine.

The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star, who posed topless for the mag, was first linked to the rapper, 26, in July 2014. They went public with their romance when Jenner turned 18 in August 2015.

“The first year we started hanging out, everyone around him told him not to be with me. I still get comments like, ‘Don’t be with him.’ But we’re not doing it for the public — we love each other,” Jenner, 19, tells Complex. “We need to be together at all times. We never get mad at each other, we just figure things out.”

She adds: “[It’s my] first real, mature relationship.”

Jenner and Tyga haven’t always had it easy. The on-and-off couple briefly called it quits back in May. (Us exclusively revealed in January that Tyga cheated on her with Brazilian model Annalu Cardoso.) “I just needed to see what it was like not being with him,” she explains. “We realized that wasn’t what we wanted.”

Still, they had to overcome other issues. Jenner ended her feud with Tyga’s ex Blac Chyna (the pair share son King Cairo, 3) when the model, 28, announced that she and Jenner’s brother Rob Kardashian were engaged. The future spouses are expecting a baby girl in four weeks.

“We’re totally fine,” Jenner says of Chyna. “It’s all love.”

Jenner’s personal life has made headlines since she began filming KUWTK at age 9. “When I was younger, I used to think about my sister’s name, Kim. Growing up with her, I always knew her name, but now everybody else knows it, too,” she says. “That’s so crazy! It feels different when you say it now: Kim Kardashian. Now, I feel like that when I say my name. Kylie Jenner. F–k! Everyone knows my name too.”

“It’s probably the hardest thing,” she adds. “You don’t know who you are. I didn’t know who I was a year ago, and I still don’t know exactly who I am now. You’re trying to grow up and make mistakes and everybody’s watching.”

And criticizing. The Kylie Cosmetics creator often calls out online bullies and had to defend her choice to get lip injections. During her interview, she revealed how one guy once made her feel insecure about her small pout.

“This guy I kissed was like, ‘Your lips are really small but you’re a really good kisser. I didn’t think you were gonna be good at kissing.’ It was so rude. From then on, I just felt like I saw guys staring at my lips. I felt like no one wanted to kiss me,” she recalls. “I didn’t want to be a bad influence. I didn’t want people to think you had to get your lips done to feel good about yourself. But [critics] thought it was crazier that I was lying about it because it was so obvious. I wish I had just been honest and upfront.”

She also wishes she hadn’t overdone it the first few times. “When you first get them done, you’re like, ‘Oh, it could be a little bit bigger on that side.’ I’d go back and be like, ‘They went down,’ and think they could be bigger,” she tells the mag. “But I went too far. It was very painful.”

Despite the negativity that comes with fame, Jenner is “happy.” She hopes to continue building her empire and eventually be featured in Forbes magazine. For her, doing all that without the celebrity label would be an extra bonus.

“I’ve been famous for what feels like my whole life. I just want to know what it feels like not to be,” she says. “I just know that this life isn’t for me forever… If someone told me how big [KUWTK] was going to be, I probably would’ve had a second thought about it. I don’t want to be ‘Kylie Jenner.’ It’s become a job more than who I am. I don’t even want to be that person anymore.”
