That’s one way to kick-start a project! The Marina Abramovic Institute enlisted Lady Gaga to help them draw attention to their Kickstarter campaign fund by going nude — completely nude — in a new promotional video.
“Last week at a three-day retreat in upstate New York, Marina instructed Lady Gaga in the Abramovic Method — a series of exercises designed to heighten participants’ awareness of their physical and mental experience in the present moment,” MAI captioned the video on VIMEO. “Marina Abramovic Institute (MAI) will be the first space dedicated to practicing the Abramovic Method, which prepares participants to both perform and observe long durational work.”
In the video, the 27-year-old “Born This Way” singer starts out fully clothed in a gray jumpsuit and chanting outdoors. She then bares her completely naked body in a full frontal shot while doing a series of stretches in the woods. Gaga boldly shows off her slim figure and multiple tattoos while practicing the Abramovic Method.
In another scene, Gaga cuddles a giant crystal on a wood floor while still nude, and later sits on top of it — also in the buff.
