Sources tell Us that the 'N Sync-er, 35, and Turchin will wed on Saturday, Dec. 20, in the posh Park Plaza Hotel in downtown L.A.
The couple first met in Palm Springs in 2010 at a birthday party, and started dating in December 2011. In a recent feature with Brides magazine, Bass reflected back on their road to romance, and how eventually, he would call model Turchin his fiancé.
"Right away, I knew I wanted to get to know him," Bass wrote. "I was very attracted to him and I thought he was sweet, but I just wasn't sure how interested he was in me. It was a situation where I knew right away that I wanted to be friends with him, but I had no idea it would lead to a romantic relationship."
Eventually, that friendship turned into a full-fledged romance, one that is "really fun" and "lighthearted," according to the singer. "I think [that] is key to what makes us work," Bass wrote in Brides. "We're both homebodies, but we like to go out on little adventures. I love to scare Michael. You've probably seen some of my pranks on Instagram, but it's just something that we enjoy doing."
Bass and Turchin got engaged in September 2013, after the singer proposed to Turchin with a black diamond band. And, ever the gentleman, he even texted Turchin's parents first to ask for their permission.
On Friday, Bass took to his Instagram to excitedly preview his upcoming nuptials to Turchin. "Is this real life?!" Bass gushed alongside a photo montage of his future hubby. "Can't believe in one more day I get to call this gorgeous man my husband!!! #LanceLovesMichael."
Their wedding will be featured in a special, Lance Loves Michael: The Lance Bass Wedding, which premieres Feb. 5, at 8 p.m., on E!
