Proud to be an American! Just like Us, Leslie Jones is glued to the coverage of the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro — and she’s making it known on social media.

The Ghostbusters actress, 48, took to Twitter on Saturday, August 6, just hours after the sporting event kicked off during a star-studded opening ceremony.

“Yep I love the Olympics it’s the only time all countries come together to compete. I love it!!” Jones captioned a Twitter video of herself decked out in red, white and blue gear, including an American flag wrapped around her body and several gold medals around her neck.

“We ‘bout to win them medals, yo!” she excitedly yelled in the clip. “That’s right, son! We ‘bout to take it, yo! U-S-A, U-S-A!”

After American sports shooter Ginny Thrasher won the first gold medal of the 2016 games on Saturday, the patriotic Saturday Night Live cast member told her 354k Twitter followers: “I wanna give a shoutout to Ginny Thrasher for getting us a medal. Yeah, and shooting them rifles. Go ‘head, Ginny. I’m watching the biking event right now. Go USA!”

Later in the day, Jones narrated one of the women’s swimming competitions, quipping, “I would so drown. I cannot swim — that’s so sad.” As for her reaction to the cycling event? “Man, look at that s–t! Look at how fast they’re going. That’s crazy as hell. I’d skin all my knees.”
