Liam Hemsworth: Jennifer Lawrence Is “Terrible at Walking,” a “Clumsy, Clumsy Girl”

Calling out his costar! Liam Hemsworth stopped by Late Night With Seth Meyers on Wednesday, Nov. 18, and revealed that his Hunger Games costar Jennifer Lawrence is, in fact, just as clumsy as she appears to be.

When Meyers, 41, asked Hemsworth whether Lawrence’s constant falling is part of an elaborate act, the 25-year-old Australian hunk chuckled.

“Not at all,” he responded candidly. “She’s terrible at walking.”

Hemsworth then detailed an incident wherein he and Lawrence were at a Hunger Games premiere in London when the actress’ heel broke.

“She got down the stairs there, and we got to the back of the theater and one of her heels broke, and she went down,” Hemsworth recounted. “Thankfully, it was at the back of the theater so only a couple of people saw her. I picked her up and she only has one heel on, so I’m walking her out, [but then] we get outside the theater and a friend of mine comes up and I’m like, ‘Hey, good to see you!’ and I let go.”

“I take full responsibility for that one,” Hemsworth added with a laugh.

Earlier this month, Lawrence, 25, took another tumble while at the Madrid premiere for The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2.

At last year’s Oscars, the actress similarly tripped as she was heading into the Dolby Theatre. Lawrence attempted to stop her fall by grabbing onto the shoulder of a woman in front of her, but instead face-planted into her friend’s backside.

And perhaps most famously, the good-natured actress stumbled in her gorgeous pale pink Dior Haute Couture gown at the 2013 Oscars on her way up the steps to accept the Academy Award for Best Actress for her lead role in Silver Linings Playbook.
