Here’s one direction: Go away! Lindsay Lohan claims in a new interview with The Sun that One Direction heartthrob Harry Styles once tried to hook up with her, but she sent him packing.
As the 29-year-old actress tells it, the crooner showed up at her hotel room at 2 a.m. one night hoping for a good time.
“He was in a suit. I said, ‘Well, you’re very good looking — can I help you?’” the former child star recalled of her interaction with the 22-year-old singer.
“He was like, ‘I’m Harry. Gavin and Michael sent me here,’” she said. “I was like, ‘I’m going to bed, but it was nice to meet you.’”
Lohan told the publication, where she was serving as guest editor, that unlike millions of young girls around the world, she initially didn’t recognize the boy-bander.
“I didn’t know it was him!” she said before going on to explain: “It didn’t click who he was at the time. I told my sister the next day, and she was like, ‘Wait, are you kidding me?! … Do you have his number? Can I have it?’”
But perhaps it was all a misunderstanding. According to the star, Styles — who has dated beauties including Taylor Swift and Kendall Jenner — later claimed that his friends had punked him and told him that Lohan was having a party in her room, which is why he showed up unannounced.
Nowadays, Lohan, who is living in London, said she’s no longer the partying type. “The people who I used to hang out with are waking up at 5 a.m. — now I wake up at 9 a.m.”
She also confirmed that she is indeed dating Russian business heir Egor Tarabasov. “I do have a boyfriend, and he is a great guy,” the actress said of her beau of seven months. “I’m really happy.”
