Lindsay Lohan has gotten herself into another hairy situation.
Thankfully, this time, the drama is actually hair-related. The Liz & Dick star, 26, stepped out Thursday night, rocking a particularly intense new auburn hue.
Lohan admitted to E! News that the look wasn't exactly what she had in mind when she headed to the salon.
"It's actually the wrong color than it's supposed to be," she explained, adding that the color should fade a bit over time. "It's the color of my natural hair and it will get there."
Earlier this week, the former Disney star was making headlines for very different reasons: on early Wednesday morning, Lohan got into an intense argument with her mom Dina after a mother-daughter night out.
The hysterical actress called her dad Michael in the hopes that he'd intervene. (During the call, a sobbing Lohan explained that the argument began over $40,000 she had lent her mom "because she needs to keep her house." Lohan also accused her mom of using cocaine).
On Thursday afternoon, The Canyons star phoned TMZ Live to explain exactly what had gone down between the two women.
"I told my dad a really hurtful and untruthful lie about my mom," she began. "She was not on cocaine."
Her fight with Dina, 50 (also mom to Michael, Jr., 24, Ali, 18, and Cody, 16) was nothing more than a standard mother-daughter dispute, she said.
"Daughters have fights with their moms," she explained. "It happens a lot. It's normal."
As for her relationship with Michael, who allegedly passed the recording of her emotional phone call on to TMZ?
Lohan sniped that she's now "done with him," and that he "doesn't know what it means to be a father. He doesn't want to be a dad."
