Were they glad she came? Lindsay Lohan made a surprise appearance backstage at the Jingle Ball concert in Philadelphia on Wednesday night … where The Wanted just happened to be performing. Coincidence? We think not. According to reports, the actress made the two-hour drive from New York City just to catch the boy band’s set, a week after she saw them open for Justin Bieber at Madison Square Garden. Unlike that time, Lohan did not get arrested for punching a woman she thought was flirting with Wanted singer Max George.

But it doesn’t look like she won his affections this time either. Despite reports that the 26-year-old was only there to spend time with the British singer, he clearly had other plans: a date with Jagermeister. “Good night ahead!!” he tweeted after the Philly show, along with a photo of him planting a kissing on a huge bottle of the German liquor. Lohan, whom George described as “the best drunk in New York” to E! Online after the Big Apple debacle, “has been trying to hang out with Max for some time,” a source tells the site. “You always want to give people the benefit of the doubt, but once he saw what was happening, he was out of there."

This the first time Lohan has acted like a band groupie. After filming “Chapter 27” with Jared Leto in 2006, she spent the next few years showing up at 30 Seconds to Mars concerts and hitting events proudly wearing his band’s Echelon bracelets – even long after the two had been rumored to be an item.

After Leto, Lohan moved on to becoming DJ Samantha Ronson’s super fan. In 2008, the two women began a toxic on-again, off-again relationship that got its start in a nightclub. Although the actress was struggling with her drug and alcohol additions, she was often spotted at late-night hot spots cheering on her girlfriend – and usually by her side in the DJ booth. But once the romance went sour in early 2009, Lohan got a little too stalker-like and Ronson’s mother and twin sister, Charlotte, went to the police to seek a restraining order to protect Sam, as well as her family, after Lohan booked a room in the same hotel as the Ronsons, attempted to break into their room, and even got “physical” with brother Mark, according to Charlotte. Then in January 2011, Lohan began renting a Venice beach house right next door to Samantha. Although the two were spotted hanging out together soon after, the romance never really did get rekindled. “Two toxic people cannot be together,” Lohan told Us Weekly last month. “End of story. We're friends now. That's how it started, so I think that's what's meant to be."
