Lisa Barlow Hints ‘RHOSLC’ Season 7 Is ‘So Different,’ Teases Resolution With Bronwyn Newport (Exclusive)

There’s something new in the air when it comes to The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City — at least that’s what Lisa Barlow thinks.

“This season feels so different. It’s so fresh,” Lisa, 51, told Us Weekly exclusively at the 2026 American Music Awards on Monday, May 25. “It’s so different than the last six. Everything about it.”

Lisa teased that fans will get “an inside look” at each of the Housewives as “individuals” instead of just the “group dynamic” like prior seasons.

“The last four seasons have been all about the group. I think we were lacking who we are, what makes us who we are at home, and that’s why we come into the group a certain way,” Lisa continued. “I think you’re going to get a lot more of that, and so much change.”

She explained there will be “more layers” within the show to display “the depth” of each woman and how they’ve changed throughout the last few years.

For Lisa, specifically, she teased that there will be more of her family dynamic with husband John Barlow and sons Jack, 21, and Henry, 15.

“There’s so much more than just me and the friend group,” she continued. “I think you’re gonna see a lot more of that.”

John accompanied Lisa on Monday night and she couldn’t help but gush over her man.

“He’s my best friend. I love him more than anybody and anything,” she shared. “He’s my person, and so it’s really fun to have him here with me, and he’s so cute.”

Lisa also hinted at some adjustments in her dynamic with costar Bronwyn Newport, with whom she’s had some tension in the past.

“I wanted more from our friendship, and then I feel like her actions and words and lies took us backwards,” Lisa explained to Us. “For me, you have to work harder when you start off like this. A different type of friendship with someone, and it’s based on fabrication. That’s been a struggle for us for the last two and a half years.”

Lisa explained that she’s “so direct” with Bronwyn, 40, throughout their connection instead of sugarcoating anything.

“It’s easier to just say exactly what you mean, say exactly how you feel, and then move forward that way,” she said. “Life is about change and constantly evolving. It’s interesting who can do that and who can’t.”

All episodes of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City are now streaming via Peacock.
