So not fetch! Jessica Alba opened up about female friendships in a new interview with Yahoo! Parenting, and revealed that she still comes in contact with some Regina Georges, years after she left high school.
“Doesn’t it feel like the mean girl thing from high school sort of just like transforms into adulthood through motherhood?” Alba, 34, quipped.
The Honest Company founder is the mother to two children with her husband, Cash Warren. After the couple tied the knot in May 2008, they went on to welcome daughter Honor the following month, and daughter Haven in 2011.
While she may come in contact with her fair share of mean girls, Alba also has found some very famous friends. The Honey star is a part of Taylor Swift’s famed squad and appeared alongside fellow pals Gigi Hadid, Karlie Kloss, and Selena Gomez, among others, in the singer’s talked-about “Bad Blood” music video.
The actress has also been busy expanding her empire with the Honest Company, and acting in films like Sin City: A Dame to Kill For, Barely Lethal, and the Entourage movie. Despite her packed schedule, she continues to put her children first.
“I love what I do. But unless it’s worth it, I’m not going to spend time away from my daughter,” Alba said of Honor in 2011 when she was pregnant with her second child. “Before I had her, work was all I had. Now it’s not.”
