She said yes! Maggie Grace is engaged to her boyfriend Matthew Cooke. The Taken actress shared the happy news herself via Instagram on Wednesday, Feb. 18.
“The minute I heard my first love story, I started looking for you, not knowing how blind that was. Lovers do not finally meet somewhere. They are in each other all along,” she captioned an adorable snap of herself in Cooke’s embrace, flashing her new bling. “Rumi Matthew Cooke & I are so excited to share our engagement with you guys! I could not feel more grateful to share my life with this incredible man.”
In another equally happy-looking snap, the How to Make Money Selling Drugs director dips his wife-to-be while she cradles his face in her hands. “We’re all fancied up for @globalgreen tonight so we thought — let’s ask our friend to take a fancy photo! 😉 Photo credit : @thisthatbyron Since we’ve got the photo thing covered should we just elope?!” she captioned the romantic pic from the impromptu engagement shoot.
Grace previously dated Ian Somerhalder, who also played her brother in Lost, and recently gushed to New You magazine she’s still pals with the star, who also recently got engaged to Nikki Reed. “I haven’t dated too many actors,” she said. “I did when I was really young, for a couple of years, but it’s nothing against actors. Ian Somerhalder and I are still very good friends. You can certainly reconcile schedules with actors but it takes some doing, and I just don’t have that energy.”
