Heartbreaking. Meadow Walker remembered her late father Paul Walker on what would have been his 41st birthday in a touching Instagram post shared Friday, Sept. 12.
"Happy birthday, I love you," the actor's teenage daughter wrote, alongside a throwback picture of him holding and laughing with his baby girl.
Walker died last November in a tragic car crash in Santa Clarita, Calif. Shortly before her father's death, 15-year-old Meadow had relocated from Hawaii — where she lived with her mom Rebecca Soteros — to L.A. to live with Walker.
Two weeks before the accident, the Fast and Furious star opened up to Us Weekly about his teen daughter. "I'm glad I had her at 25," the proud father reflected to Us, "because at 40 and 15, we're matching up sweet. It's just working. It's perfect."
In February, it was revealed that the movie star had left his entire $25 million estate to his one and only daughter.
The actor's team created Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook accounts for Meadow this past April to combat fake social media accounts. In May, Meadow tweeted: "Thank you for all of the kind words and support during this difficult time! My family and I truly appreciate it. xoxo."
Walker's Fast & Furious costars also posted birthday wishes for their late castmate on Friday. "#HappyBirthdayPW #ROWW Always in our hearts," Jordana Brewster wrote alongside a picture of a sunrise.
Ludacris also shared an old picture of Walker on a humanitarian trip. "Happy Bday to an Angel today @paulwalker," he wrote.
